<p>You may be prevented from registering if you have a hold on your record. Any registration may be declared invalid for academic, disciplinary, or financial reasons attested to by the Registrar, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, or Bursar.</p>
<p>For example, if you have an outstanding past due balance, you will be unable to register until the balance is paid. To determine whether you have a hold that would prevent you from registering, check your registration status on CougarNet. If you have a hold, contact the office responsible for placing the hold and determine what steps you must take to have it removed.</p>
