University Holds You may be prevented from registering if you have a hold on your record. Any registration may be declared invalid for academic, disciplinary, or financial reasons attested to by the Registrar, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, or Bursar. For example, if you have an outstanding past due balance, you will be unable to register until the balance is paid. To determine whether you have a hold that would prevent you from registering, check your registration status on CougarNet. If you have a hold, contact the office responsible for placing the hold and determine what steps you must take to have it removed.
