Students who try to register online with a sense of the classes they want, but no sense of how those classes fit one another or other demands of their life, often experience difficulties. Before you can plan to enroll in a course, verify that you are eligible for it. Once you have found courses in the Class Schedule on CougarNet, you check its availability, prerequisites and restrictions by clicking on the course name. You also can click View Catalog Entry for the course description. When putting your schedule together, start with the courses most important to your degree program, meet for the most time each week, or have the fewest available sections. With these priority courses in place, add remaining, more flexible courses. |
