Transfer Application Deadlines at SIUE

You may apply for admission and pay the $30 application fee up to one year in advance. The application deadline is four weeks before the beginning of the desired term. An application fee waiver is available to those who qualify. Apply as soon as you can for early advisement and the best class selection.

You may be admitted as a transfer student if you have attempted at least 30 semester hours in courses at accredited institutions and have earned at least a cumulative 2.00 (C) grade point average in such course work.

If you have fewer than 30 hours, admission will be based on your high school record and ACT or SAT scores. You may need to take placement tests in math, reading, and writing. Documents should be sent directly from your institution(s) to:

Upon receipt of your application and transcript, SIUE will send you notification of your admission status and an official evaluation of your transcripts.
