What is Springboard to Success?

Springboard to Success is a mandatory pre-entry advisement program for freshmen that will jump-start your university experience and help you make a smooth transition to SIUE. This program includes academic advisement and class registration, and is designed to better acquaint students and parents with SIUE. It’s a great opportunity for you and your family to experience life on campus.

At Springboard, students will have the opportunity to:

• Be advised and register for fall classes
• Take care of other University business
• Get your SIUE student I.D. and e-mail address
• Meet current and future SIUE students, faculty, and staff
• Explore the campus and learn your way around

Parents, too, will have a great opportunity to experience SIUE while attending sessions about financial aid, paying the bills, residence life, student privacy rights, and making a successful transition to your student’s college career.
