SIUE is offering a shuttle to St. Louis public transportation (Amtrak, Greyhound, Megabus, and Lambert St. Louis airport) on a trial basis for holiday breaks during the 2010-2011 school year.
St. Louis was selected because more travel options are available to students. Shuttle service will not be provided to the Alton Amtrak station. If you travel from Alton, alternate arrangements such as a taxi or a ride from a friend should be made on your own.
Shuttle dates are as follows:
Cost is $10 per student, each way. If children will ride with a student, cost is $5.00 per child. Tickets are available at the MUC Information Office during their regular hours. Tickets must be purchased in advance by the following dates:
The schedule for SPRING BREAK is as follows and is subject to change depending upon student needs. If enough students do not participate, the shuttle will be canceled and students will receive a refund. Other transportation options to St. Louis are listed here.
