| Opened in fall 2000, this world-class facility includes classrooms, laboratories, and offices for: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. The lower level houses a wind tunnel, a device that measures the strength of material samples, a cement mixing room, a robotics lab, computer integrated manufacturing equipment, other specialized labs, and a 100-seat auditorium. From the atrium of the building, you will notice walkways connecting the east and west wings of the second and third floors. The offices of the dean of Engineering and the department chairs are in the east wing, while classrooms, labs, and instructors and offices occupy the west wing. Each classroom in this building has both a computer and a ceiling-mounted projector. There are also several computer labs available for student use. |
