<h3>21. Bluff Residence Hall (BR)</h3>

<p>Bluff Hall opened in fall 2001, housing approximately 500 students, a 24-hour state-of-the-art computer lab, a laundry, a snack bar, and an activity wing. The hall is a freshman building and is home to SIUE’s Focused Interest Communities.</p>
<p>Focused Interest Communities (FICs) allow students with the same interest or major to live near each other. Sharing their experiences in a community setting helps students expand their understanding of special interest areas and develop an appreciation for perspectives different from their own through <a href="http://www.siue.edu/housing">University Housing</a>.</p>
