<h2>What's New in Business</h2>
<p><br />Here are a few new items that may interest you with respect to our business information resources.</p>
<ul>
<li>This last year, the Library was able to negotiate with SIU-Carbondale a joint license agreement to Standard & Poor's <strong><a href="http://proxy.library.siue.edu:2048/login?url=http://www.netadvantage.standardpoor.com/">NetAdvantage</a></strong> database. This joint agreement saved both institutions some money and also allowed us to add some new modules from the NetAdvantage suite, such as the "<strong>Global Industry Surveys</strong>," the "<strong>Mutual Fund</strong>" module, and the "<strong>Daily Price Record</strong>" providing securities pricing data back to 1984.<br /></li>
<li>You might have seen recently that the <strong><a href="http://www.worldbank.org/">World Bank</a></strong> is now making much of its data available for free. This includes their "World Development Indicators.<br /></li>
<li>Within our Euromonitor <strong><a href="http://proxy.library.siue.edu:2048/login?url=http://www.portal.euromonitor.com">Passport GMID</a></strong> market research database, we have a new feature called "<strong>Dashboards</strong>," which essentially allows a visualization and mapping of the underlying demographic, market and industry data.<br /></li>
