Self Instruction Lab

The Media Area is home to the Self-Instruction Lab, which offers a comfortable setting for individuals or groups wishing to view DVD, VHS, or film media. Patrons are welcome to view media from the Library's collection, from course reserves, or from their own private collection.

In addition to DVD players, VCRs, and film projectors, the Self Instruction Lab also has audio equipment for patrons wishing to listen to a cassette tape or CD.

The Self Instruction Lab also has headphones available for use with the computers located on all three floors of the Library.

Patrons are asked to abide by the following rules while using the Self Instruction Lab:

• Before using the equipment, please sign in with the Self Instruction Lab staff.
• So as to prevent others from being disturbed, headphones must be used when viewing or listening to media.
• Headphones and remote controls must be returned when finished.
• Children should not be left unattended.
• Courtesy and common sense should be used to avoid activities that offend or interfere with others.
