<ul>
<li>Academic Computing labs are open to current SIUE students and employees only.</li>
<li>Users of Academic Computing facilities have no explicit or implicit expectation of privacy.</li>
<li>
You must
<ul>
<li>Show or scan (where badge reader available) your SIUE I.D. badge when you enter the lab.</li>
<li>Be considerate of other lab users -- this is a study area.</li>
<li>Pay $0.10 per copy for black-and-white laser printing.</li>
<li>Pay $0.50 per copy for color printing (where available).</li>
<li>Comply with the <strong><a href="http://www.siue.edu/informationtechnology/policies/">Information Technology: Responsible Use Policy at SIU</a></strong> .</li>
<li>Comply with the <strong><a href="/id0904f67a80234bd6">Illinois Computer Crime Prevention Law</a></strong> and the Computing Policies of the Board of Trustees of SIU.</li>
</ul>

<li>
You may not
<ul>
<li>Bring food or beverages into the lab.</li>
<li>Use tobacco in any form.</li>
<li>Install, copy, or reconfigure software -- this includes e-mail POP clients such as Netscape and Eudora.</li>
<li>Download or save files to the workstation hard drive -- you must provide your own diskette.</li>
<li>Reboot or turn off a computer.</li>
<li>Play games or use chat rooms unless assigned by your instructor.</li>
<li>Display or print sexually explicit images.</li>
</ul>

<li>Failure to follow these rules may result in suspension of lab privileges or other disciplinary action.</li>
