<h2>Dissertation</h2><p></p><h3>Dissertation Committee</h3><p>The dissertation must be written under the guidance of the chair and the co-chair of the dissertation committee and must be approved by the dissertation committee. Successful approval of the oral defense and the written dissertation requires the support of at least five of the six members of the dissertation committee.</p><h3>Dissertation Proposal</h3><p>The research proposal for the dissertation research must be approved by the dissertation committee.</p><h3>Dissertation</h3><p>The dissertation must be written under the guidance of the chair and the co-chair of the dissertation committee, and must be approved by the dissertation committee. Successful approval of the oral defense and the written dissertation requires the support of at least 80 percent of the membership of the dissertation committee.</p>
