<strong><br />Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam</strong><strong><br /></strong>The <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.ncees.org/Exams/FE_exam.php" target="_blank">fundamentals of engineering (FE) exam</a> is a nationally administered test taken by seniors in various engineering majors, but mostly by civil engineers due to the nature of their career functions in the industry. SIUE civil engineering students have regularly outperformed the national comparator group rates for many years. In 2008, SIUE seniors achieved a 95 percent pass rate while the national overall pass rate was 70 percent.<br /><br />The SIUE student chapter of Chi Epsilon organizes an FE exam review. Please contact the <a href="http://www.siue.edu/engineering/civilengineering/CE_Dept_News.shtml" rel="nofollow">Department of Civil Engineering</a> for more details.<br /><br /><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.continentaltesting.net/ProfDetail.aspx?Entity=2&ProfID=15" target="_blank">FE Exam registration</a> is to be completed online. Application services are provided by <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.continentaltesting.net/index.html" target="_blank">Continental Testing Services</a>, for the Illinois Division of Professional Regulation.
