<h2>Educational Administration Program to be Offered at Mt. Olive</h2> <br />The Educational Leadership Department will be offering the Educational Administration Master&rsquo;s Degree (12 courses) at Mount Olive School beginning in June 2011.&nbsp; The program leads to a General Administrative Certification (Type 75) in Illinois and Initial Administrative Certification in Missouri.&nbsp; This certification is appropriate for such positions as assistant principal, principal, director and assistant superintendent.<br /><br />For those individuals who already have a Master&rsquo;s Degree, the Educational Administration Program will offer a Certificate Only option (9 courses) or a Specialist Degree in general administration option (10 courses).&nbsp; Both of these options lead to a General Administrative Certificate.&nbsp; Additional information is available at <a href="http://www.siue.edu/educationaladministation">siue.edu/educationaladministation</a>.<br /><br /><strong>Coursework Schedule</strong><br />In the summer, classes will be held in a compact format during the day.&nbsp; During the fall and spring semesters, classes will be held on Tuesday evenings.&nbsp; Most courses will be offered in an eight-week format and several courses may be offered online.&nbsp; The overall schedule of the program is designed for participants to complete a full Master&rsquo;s Degree within a two-year period or six semesters (2 courses per semester).<br /><br /><strong>Cost</strong><br />Off-campus rates apply!&nbsp; Current tuition is $751.50 and off-campus fees for the summer semester are scheduled to be $169.65 for a total of $921.15 for a three-semester hour class.&nbsp; Tuition waivers will be accepted.&nbsp; (Waivers are issued to cooperating teachers who host student teachers.)<br /><br /><strong>Enroll Now as SPACE IS LIMITED and classes are expected to fill!&nbsp;</strong> The program is scheduled to begin in June; however, participants need to apply by April 24, 2011 to insure acceptance into the program before classes begin.&nbsp; To apply, go to <a href="http://www.siue.edu/apply" target="_blank">siue.edu/apply</a>.<br /><br />For assistance with the admission/enrollment process, consider contacting Angie White, Assistant Director for Graduate Programs, at (618) 650-2433 or by email at&nbsp; <a href="mailto:angewhi@siue.edu">angewhi@siue.edu</a>.
