&lt;h3&gt;About Dr. Lux&lt;/h3&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Dr. Lux obtained her Ph.D. in kinesiology from the University of Georgia, her M.S. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and her undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University.&amp;nbsp; Dr. Lux has initiated a line of inquiry investigating teacher socialization.&amp;nbsp; Specifically, she is interested in physical educators&amp;rsquo; experiences of marginality as teachers of a low-status subject in schools.&amp;nbsp; Dr. Lux has presented papers at both national (United States) and international forums, is an active member of&lt;em&gt; AAHPERD&lt;/em&gt;, &lt;em&gt;AIESEP&lt;/em&gt;, and currently serves as a reviewer for &lt;em&gt;Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport&lt;/em&gt; and &lt;em&gt;The Physical Educator&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Her research articles have been published in the &lt;em&gt;Journal of Teaching in Physical Education&lt;/em&gt;, the &lt;em&gt;Journal of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance&lt;/em&gt;, The &lt;em&gt;Physical Educator&lt;/em&gt;, and &lt;em&gt;Strategies&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dr. Lux instructs pedagogical methods courses for both majors and non-majors with a specialization in elementary physical education.&amp;nbsp; Her teaching experience includes physical education instruction at the elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Representative&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;strong&gt;Publications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Lux, K.&lt;/strong&gt; (2010).
