<h3>About Dr. Henry</h3>
<p>Dayna Henry is an Assistant Professor in the Community Health Education program. She is also affiliated with the Women’s Studies Program. She obtained her Ph.D. in health behavior with a minor in human sexuality from the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University Bloomington. She obtained her master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from an AAMFT accredited program at the University of Guelph in Canada after completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the same institution. Her research has and continues to focus on the intersubjective nature of sexuality. <br /><br />Dr. Henry has worked as a sex therapist and educator since 2003. Her primary research interests include sex education among youths and adults; examining the effectiveness of sex education and sex therapy; communication about sexuality; relationships and sexuality; and increasing both the use and validity of qualitative methodologies within the field of sexuality. She has presented and published research related to sexual health, sexuality education, and sexual communication. She has presented work at the annual meeting for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) and the International Congress for Qualitative Inquiry (ICQI). <br /><br />Dr. Henry teaches courses in health counseling, drug use and prevention, grant writing, epidemiology, sexuality education and sexual health.<br /><br /><strong>Representative</strong> <strong>Publications:</strong></p>
