<strong><em><br />JoAnn Richter-Hill ’62 </em></strong>was named a clinical consultant in Swansea.

<strong><br /><em>Patricia Sims ’72, ’92, ’01</em></strong> was hired as the part-time supervisor for the South Macoupin Service Area for Special Education.<br /><br /><em><strong>Edna Sommars ’73</strong></em> and her husband Louis recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.<br /><br /><em><strong>Mary Karban ’75, ’91</strong></em> received a Peabody/ Logos Leaders in Education Award.

<br /><em><strong>Terry Moeller ’81</strong></em> is the new assistant football coach at Belleville West High School.<br /><br /><em><strong>Steven Wooley ’87</strong></em> of Southwestern High School is the Coach of the Year for Small School Girls Basketball.

<br /><em><strong>Russell Witzig ’90, ’00</strong></em> was named Wresting Coach of the Year by Belleville News Democrat. <br /><br /><em><strong>Gina Segobiano ’91</strong></em> is the new superintendent of Jerseyville School District.<br /><br /><em><strong>Michelle Janes ‘92</strong></em> won a Gold Apple Award for being an outstanding teacher in St. Clair County.<br /><br /><em><strong>Allen Kirgan ’93</strong></em> was named a 2009-2010 Wrestling Coach of the Year by Belleville News Democrat.<br /><br /><em><strong>Derek Hacke ’97</strong></em> is the new principal at Highland High School.<br /><br /><em><strong>Patricia Hanna ’98</strong></em> is the new cross country and track and field coach at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO. <br /><br /><em><strong>Brian Mentzer ’98, ’02</strong></em> was named superintendent at Millstadt District 160. <br /><br /><em><strong>Jennifer Filyaw ’99</strong></em> was named to the ‘Top 40 under 40’ by the St. Louis Business Journal for 2010.<br /><br /><em><strong>Mary Ann Johnson ‘99</strong></em> was named the new principal at Huffman Elementary School in Cahokia. <br /><br /><em><strong>Matthew Noyes ’99, ’07, ’09</strong></em> received a Peabody/ Logos Leaders in Education Award.

<span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong><br /></strong></span><em><strong>Andrea Butler ’00</strong></em> was promoted to assistant vice president of special assets at TheBANK of Edwardsville. <span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong><br /><br /></strong></span><em><strong>Ronald Ferrell ’00, ’03</strong></em> is the new principal at Officer Elementary School in East St. Louis.<br /><br /><em><strong>Linda Putz ’00</strong></em> is the new principal at St. Mary/St. Augustine Catholic School in Belleville. <br /><br /><em><strong>Cathie Buller ’01</strong></em> was named principal of Triad Middle School in Troy, IL.<br /><em><strong><br />Ryan Sackett ’01</strong></em> was named head coach of the Blackburn College Beavers softball team.<br /><br /><em><strong>Mark Bradley Skertich ’01</strong></em> was named superintendent of Southwestern school district.<br /><br /><em><strong>Richard Bickel ’02</strong></em> was named principal at O’Fallon Township High School. <br /><br /><em><strong>Wanakee Conrad ’02</strong></em> is the new principal at Bush Elementary School in East St. Louis.<br /><br /><em><strong>Matthew Stines ’03</strong></em> was named the superintendent of Grant District 110 in Fairview Heights.<br /><br /><em><strong>Erin Taylor ’04</strong></em> was elected to the steering committee of Division I - Language, Learning and Education Special Interest Group of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.<br /><br /><em><strong>Carla Lasley ’06</strong></em> is the new principal at Grant Middle School in Fairview Heights.<br /><br /><em><strong>Jamerson McCloskey ’06</strong></em> is the new principal for Jefferson Elementary School in Belleville. <br /><br /><em><strong>Angela Greene ’07, ’09</strong></em> is the new Special education speech therapist in the Staunton School District. <br /><br /><em><strong>Travis Klein ’07</strong></em> is the new principal at Illini Elementary School in Fairview Heights. <br /><br /><em><strong>Darin Loepker ’07</strong></em> is the new principal at High Mount School in Swansea.<br /><br /><em><strong>Robert Canada ’08</strong></em> received a Peabody/Logos Leaders in Education Award. <br /><br /><em><strong>Kayli Niehaus ’09</strong></em> is the new Special Education Pre-School At-Risk teacher in the Staunton School District.
