The morning session focuses the basics of the vocabulary and calculations necessary to conduct Earned Value Analysis (EVA). Participants perform an easy-to-understand exercise that teaches the basic EVA concepts of Planned Value (PV), Actual Cost (AC), Earned Value (EV), and  Budget at Completion (BAC) and their application in formulating calculations used in this powerful project-tracking process.  Then, the session moves into the computer lab to do a hands-on exercise that demonstrates how to use MS Project to generate project performance tracking EVA calculations including CPI, SPI, and EAC.
