<body>&lt;h2&gt;Frank Staggers Award of Excellence in Marketing Research&lt;/h2&gt;&lt;table bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="10" cellspacing="0" align="left"&gt;    &lt;tr&gt;        &lt;td width="13%" valign="top"&gt;            &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;img height="263" hspace="15" border="1" width="174" alt="" src="/id0904f67a8062836e" align="left" /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ms Brendia Staggers&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sponsor, Frank Staggers Award&lt;/p&gt;        &lt;/td&gt;        &lt;td width="87%" valign="top"&gt;            &lt;p&gt;The Frank Staggers Award of Excellence in Marketing Research Endowment has been established at the SIUE Foundation in memory of Frank Staggers.&amp;nbsp; Mr. Staggers' lifelong pursuit of knowledge and a strong desire for self-improvement led him into the Master of Marketing Research (MMR) program at SIUE.&amp;nbsp; He completed his MMR degree in December 1994, and continued his commitment to education by working with the Marketing Department and his employer, Southwestern Bell, to support internships and other MMR development opportunities.&amp;nbsp; Mr. Staggers passed away in February 1997.&lt;/p&gt;            &lt;p&gt;Established by family, Marketing Department Faculty, MMR alumni, friends and co-workers, the award recognizes the academic excellence of graduate students in the Master of Marketing program at SIUE, while commemorating Frank Staggers' spirit of learning and pursuit of knowledge.&amp;nbsp; The hope is that his lifelong quest for knowledge will serve as a standard for future graduates of the MMR program.&lt;/p&gt;            &lt;p&gt;Recipients of the award must demonstrate superior academic standing, and have a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning.&amp;nbsp; The recipients are selected based on their superior performance in the MMR program (including the final research project) and their commitment to the profession of marketing research.&lt;/p&gt;        &lt;/td&gt;    &lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;table bgcolor="#ffffff" border="1" width="100%" cellpadding="10" cellspacing="2"&gt;    &lt;tr&gt;        &lt;td colspan="2" align="center"&gt;            &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2011 Recipients&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;        &lt;/td&gt;    &lt;/tr&gt;    &lt;tr&gt;        &lt;td valign="top"&gt;&lt;img height="141" width="102" alt="" src="/id0904f67a805fe5c6" align="middle" /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;        &lt;td valign="top"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mr. Gaurav Banerjee&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;completed the Master of Marketing Research degree from the School of Business at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in August 2010.&amp;nbsp;His prior education also includes a BE in Industrial Engineering &amp;amp; Management and an MS in Engineering Management, University of Florida and an MBA, St. Louis University.&amp;nbsp;Prior to joining the MMR program, Gaurav had over 8 years of experience in management consultancy including operations and project management in financial services. While completing his MMR degree, Gaurav also interned at Anheuser-Busch InBev where he developed customer satisfaction instruments and detailed analysis and reporting plans for various client groups. Gaurav is currently employed as Senior Consultant for Absolut Data Research and Analytics, New Delhi. In his present position, he leads a team of 10 analysts to provide full service marketing research and analytics consultation to some of the top Fortune 100 clients using advanced statistical applications including discrete choice modeling. In addition to consultancy in advanced analytics, a significant portion of his responsibilities include account management and business development with his current clients.&lt;/td&gt;    &lt;/tr&gt;    &lt;tr&gt;        &lt;td valign="top"&gt;&lt;img height="141" border="1" width="102" alt="" src="/id0904f67a805d4ae1" /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;        &lt;td valign="top"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ms. Julie Patti&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;completed the Master of Marketing Research (MMR) degree from the School of Business at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in August&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;2010. While completing her MMR degree, Julie also interned in the Strategy and Portfolio Management group at Covidien, a global healthcare company. She graduated summa cum laude from St. Louis University&amp;rsquo;s Honors Program with a Psychology degree where she interned at Anheuser-Busch Inbev.&amp;nbsp;Julie is currently employed at Covidien as Marketing Research Analyst in&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; the Strategy and Portfolio Management group. Her responsibilities include providing patient, physician, and marketplace insights that steer quality business decisions. She also offers guidance to Covidien&amp;rsquo;s sales and marketing groups through the analysis of physician and patient data for the company&amp;rsquo;s branded pharmaceutical products.&lt;/td&gt;    &lt;/tr&gt;    &lt;tr&gt;        &lt;td valign="top"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;img height="135" border="1" width="105" alt="" src="/id0904f67a805fe5c5" /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/td&gt;        &lt;td valign="top"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ms. Amanda Sodam&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;completed the Master of Marketing Research (MMR) degree from the School of Business at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in August 2010.&amp;nbsp; She also has a BSBA degree from Missouri State University (2009). While completing her MMR degree, Amanda also interned at Ipsos Forward Research, an international marketing research firm where she participated in provided internal research support to Ipsos&amp;rsquo; clients. Amanda is currently employed as Research Associate at Ipsos Forward Research where her responsibilities include provision of client support research services with customer insights backed by qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
