&lt;p style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto; line-height:normal" class="MsoNormal"&gt;Welcome to the exciting world of computing within the School of Business.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; Our goal is to provide you the opportunity to grow and learn while you acquire the computer competencies that can make you successful as a business information technology and information systems specialist!&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; As such, our classes are taught by a nationally recognized faculty with our core faculty holding academic doctoral degrees from leading research universities and colleges from around the United States.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; Our computerized classrooms let you gain experience in using leading edge computer software and hardware that we acquire through our academic alliances with Microsoft and Oracle Corporation.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; This enables you to learn to use the same software tools that you will use when you begin to work in the information technology industry.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; You will learn about topics such as JAVA programming, Structured Query Language (SQL), and .NET programming and database technology.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; As you study general systems theory, you will have the opportunity to use SAP R/3 software to learn exactly how organizations use computer technology to manage organizational data.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; Our departmental computer servers run a variety of operating system software including LINUX and Microsoft and you will study hands-on classes that teach you to install server and client software and to manage these types of servers.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; We use all sizes of database management systems from the largest Oracle systems to the scalable Microsoft SQL Server databases to the small workgroup Microsoft Access databases.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto; line-height:normal" class="MsoNormal"&gt;Our academic programs are tailored to meet your needs as a student.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; The hyperlink menus you see on the left side of this web page provide access to detailed information about our &lt;em style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bachelor of Science&lt;/em&gt; and &lt;em style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Master of Science&lt;/em&gt; degree programs, both with majors in Computer Management and Information Systems.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; If you are considering completing a &lt;em style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bachelor of Science in Business Administration&lt;/em&gt; (BSBA), then we encourage you to consider completing a specialization in &lt;em style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Management Information Systems&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; Additionally, we support the School of Business program for students seeking an academic minor in Business.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
