DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Teach up to three courses per semester in theater design, introduction to theater, and related theater courses at the undergraduate level as assigned. Share design assignments for department productions with other design faculty. Continued outside research/creative activity expected. Assist in the recruitment and mentoring of students. Perform service to the department, college, and university. Summer teaching or design opportunities possible. Other duties as assigned by the Chair of the department.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, Full time, tenure-track, 9-month contract beginning August 16, 2012, 100%.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: MFA in Scene Design required. Secondary design area preferred. Two years college level teaching preferred. Professional experience may substitute for some teaching.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Teach three classes per semester in theater history, introduction to theater, and other classes as assigned within the specialization including new freshman seminar and senior capstone projects in theater history/literature/criticism. Assist in mentoring and recruiting for the department. Candidate is expected to pursue a research/ scholarship agenda and provide service to the department, college, and university. Other duties as assigned. Summer teaching possible.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, Tenure track beginning August 16, 2012, 100%.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Ph.D. in theater History, or closely related field, required. Two years of college level teaching is preferred.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Periodically, the College of Arts and Sciences may have various openings throughout the year (AY 2011-2012 and summer 2012) for various full time, non-tenure, academic year term instructor appointments and part-time, non-tenure, semester term Lecturer appointments in any of the following College of Arts and Sciences departments: Anthropology, Art and Design, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, English Language and Literature, Environmental Sciences, Foreign Languages and Literature, Geography, Historical Studies, Mass Communications, Mathematics and Statistics, Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Public Administration and Policy Analysis, Sociology and Criminal Justice Studies, Social Work, Speech Communication, and Theater and Dance.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Academic, non-tenure, term, percent of appointment varies.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: An advance degree in discipline of instruction (or equivalent professional experience in Fine Arts) is required.
