&lt;p&gt;The Department offers students opportunities to emphasize studies in public relations, corporate &amp;amp; organizational communication, and interpersonal communication. In addition, speech communication is a high demand minor for majors in such areas as business, mass communications, political science and sociology. Our graduates find employment in careers such as special events coordinator, human resource management, speech writing, community relations, teaching, media relations, and communication consulting. The undergraduate programs also prepare interested students for advanced graduate level education. Our graduate program offers theoretical and practical coursework in the areas of organizational, health and interpersonal communication. Programs are led by talented faculty who combine their research expertise with outstanding instructional abilities.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="mso-ansi-language:EN" lang="EN"&gt;The administrative office of the Department is located in Alumni Hall Room 3108; tel.: (618) 650-3090.
