<ul>
<li>Is the primary method for generating unrestricted funds for program enhancements that benefit students and faculty;</li>
<li>Provides an immediately available source of funds to enhance the vital day-to-day work of our nineteen departments;</li>
<li>Offers the Dean flexibility to meet the most critical needs of the College;</li>
<li>Enables the Dean to act on unexpected opportunities during the year.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Putting your gift to use:</strong> Gifts to the CAS Alumni Fund Drive support exciting and valuable educational program enhancements, for example:</p>
<ul>
<li>Off-campus and campus networking with career professionals at workshops and conferences or service-learning travel programs;</li>
<li>Original student art projects on campus;</li>
<li>Visiting artists and program lecturers;</li>
<li>Scholarships and student awards;</li>
<li>Books, computer software, DVD’s and video materials for faculty research and instruction;</li>
<li>Campus literary magazines;</li>
<li>Faculty training to enhance teaching, project management, budgeting, and team building within departments and across disciplinary lines;</li>
<li>Technology and equipment upgrades, and much more!</li>
</ul>
