The recruitment and retention of a diverse, superior faculty helps CAS attract gifted students, which helps us raise the standards of achievement for all students.</p>
<p>Contributions offer assistance beyond the scope of state supported salaries to provide:</p>

<p>Books, videos, DVD’s, and slides for teaching and research projects;<br />Laboratory, classroom, and studio equipment for scholarly work and teaching;</p>

<li>A student research assistant;<br />Faculty training on the newest methods of testing, motivating, and mentoring students;</li>
<li>Computer hardware and software for research and classrooms;<br />Instruction on the use of technology for teaching;</li>
<li>Off-campus conferences or campus workshops to expand skills, knowledge and new techniques for students or faculty;</li>
<li>Networking with peers in a specific academic field for the presentation of scholarly work or research.</li>
