The recruitment and retention of a diverse, superior faculty helps CAS attract gifted students, which helps us raise the standards of achievement for all students.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Contributions offer assistance beyond the scope of state supported salaries to provide:&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

    &lt;li&gt;A student research assistant;&lt;br /&gt;Faculty training on the newest methods of testing, motivating, and mentoring students;&lt;/li&gt;&#13;
    &lt;li&gt;Computer hardware and software for research and classrooms;&lt;br /&gt;Instruction on the use of technology for teaching;&lt;/li&gt;&#13;
    &lt;li&gt;Off-campus conferences or campus workshops to expand skills, knowledge and new techniques for students or faculty;&lt;/li&gt;&#13;
    &lt;li&gt;Networking with peers in a specific academic field for the presentation of scholarly work or research.&lt;/li&gt;&#13;
&lt;/ul&gt;&#13;
