With apologies to Austin Powers, allow us to introduce ourselves. We’re the folks in SIUE’s office of Admission Counseling and Recruitment — the people you’ll likely meet at a college fair, at a high school college visit day, during a campus visit, or in a telephone or e-mail conversation. We have the answers to your questions, or if we don’t, we’ll get them. Some of us are SIUE alumni who have stayed on to help The Cause. Others are graduates of other colleges or universities who have Seen the Light.  ;-)

A key element to our admissions success is our STARs — STudents Assisting in Recruiting. These are current SIUE students who are enjoying their time here and want to share their discovery with prospective students.
