Freshman applicants must meet the following admission criteria:

1. Meet the published deadlines.
    
2. Successfully complete the high school course pattern requirements:
   • 4 years of English
   • 3 years of math
   • 3 years of lab science
   • 3 years of social science, and
   • 2 years of electives
      
3. Have a cumulative high school grade point of at least a 2.50, and have either an ACT score of 21 (SAT score 970–1000) or a high school class rank in the upper 25 percent.

Applicants who do not meet admission criteria may be considered for admission, but are subject to additional review.
