STAT will be selling roses during the December 2011 Commencement ceremonies. Not only will this serve as a fundraiser for the organization, but it will also provide graduating students and their families the opportunity to purchase roses as a nice sentiment on this important day of their college careers.
Roses will be sold in the east and west lobbies of the Vadalabene Center before and after each ceremony while supplies last. STAT will be selling long-stem roses in a variety of colors which will be presented with a white and red ribbon.
Roses can be purchased with cash, personal check or credit card. PLEASE NOTE that you will not be allowed to approach the stage during the Commencement ceremony and present the roses to your graduating student.
The rose sales program is a fun way to get to know some other STAT members and the work is not be difficult. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Katie Bennett, STAT Adviser, at kabenne@siue.edu.
