He assumed the position in December 2006 after almost 35 years as an award-winning broadcast journalist. Steve previously served as the Illinois Bureau Chief for News Channel 5, KSDK-TV, a show host and anchor for KMOX Radio, and a news reporter for KMOV-TV. Jankowski has returned to the place here his career began. Steve is a 1974 graduate of SIUE, where he majored in Mass Communications TV/Radio, and worked at campus radio station WSIE. Steve and his wife Elizabeth make their home in Godfrey, Illinois.</td> </tr> <tr> <td><img height="150" border="0" width="100" alt="" src="/id0904f67a805ed481" /></td> <td><strong>Katie Bennett</strong> serves as the Assistant Director, Alumni Affairs for the SIUE Alumni Association. She is a 2003 graduate of SIUE where she majored in Mass Communications Corporate Communication and minored in Public Relations. She returned to SIUE in August 2007 after working as the Events Manager/Webmaster for KMOX Radio. She is currently working on her masters degree in Public Administration.</td> </tr></table><p></p>
