<h2>7th Annual SIUE Jazz-At-The-Sheldon Concert & Alumni Reception</h2><p><img height="205" border="0" width="173" alt="sheldon concert hall" src="/id0904f67a80547f23" align="left" />Join the SIUE Music Department and the Alumni Association for the 7th Annual SIUE Jazz-At-The-Sheldon Concert & Alumni Reception Tuesday, February 26th. The concert will feature the big band writing of Brett Stamps and SIUE students with the SIUE Concert Jazz Band and the first SIUE Alumni Jazz Band.</p><p>The Alumni Reception runs before the concert from 6:00-7:30pm at The Bistro across Grand from the Fox Theater. Attendees will enjoy a delicious appetizer buffet, drinks and the opportunity to meet the student, faculty and alumni performers. Tickets are $15 and need to be purchased in advanced. Please note that our advanced ticket sales have closed but we still have tickets available. If you would like to attend, please bring payment with you to The Bistro.</p><p>The concert starts at 8:00pm at the Sheldon Concert Hall. Tickets are $6 and will be purchased at the door at the Sheldon. Musical selections will include Brett's arrangements of Pat Metheny's <em>Travels</em> and Sammy Cahn/Julie Styne's <em>I've Heard That Song Before</em> as well as two new compositions.
