2010 SIUE Alumni Homecoming Committee - Michael Mormino, '82 BS

I am originally from Decatur, Illinois graduating from MacArthur High School in 1976. After graduation I attended SIUC for three semesters then worked at A.E. Staley MFG until September 1979 when I returned to college transferring to SIUE.

I graduated from SIUE in September in 1982 with a BS with honors in Psychology. My affiliations include being a lifetime member of PSI CHI, PHI KAPPA PHI, and the SIUE Alumni Association. In March of 1983 I enrolled in graduate school at SIUE. It was at that time I began working at Rusty’s Restaurant in Edwardsville, remaining there as the head waiter and bar manager for over 25 years until it went out of business in June of 2008.

I am currently employed by the Illinois Secretary of State as the Facility Manager for Driver Services in Belleville, Illinois. I am a single father residing in Edwardsville with my three daughters Haley 25, Jordan 20, and Samantha 18.

I became interested in serving on the Homecoming Committee after attending several Alumni Association functions and getting to know Steve Jankowski and Katie Bennett. I am looking forward to a successful 2010 SIUE Homecoming and hope to see many of you there.

Return to the SIUE Alumni Homecoming Committee
