Haunted House of Hoops

SIUE Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in conjunction with SIUE Campus Recreation and the SIUE Alumni Association is proud to present the First Annual “Haunted House of Hoops.”
The event will take place on Thursday, October 28th and is FREE to everyone. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and conclude with the kick-off to the 2010-2011 basketball season beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The evening's activities will include:
- Beginning at 5:30 p.m., student athletes will welcome children to the SIUE Campus Recreation gymnasium in the Vadalabene Center for interactive demonstrations and games
- Free candy for trick or treaters
- Children are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes - Prizes awarded to the most creative trick or treaters!
- Also beginning at 5:30 p.m., the SIUE Volleyball team will take on the Racers from Murray State University
- Immediately following volleyball match, Coaches Amanda Levens and Lennox Forrester will welcome SIUE students and the local community to kickoff the season with a live scrimmage, three point contest and many other interactive activities.
