SIUE Intercollegiate Athletics inducted 11 individuals and five teams into its 2008 Hall of Fame Class on October 18, 2008. The 2008 Hall of Fame class included nine former student-athletes, one former coach and one former university staff member from a cross-section of sports and eras. The individual and team inductees were: Rick Benben, Doug Burke, Daniel Cole , Charlie Cox, Rich Essington, Ken Flach, Sharon Frey, Joan Mahon-Finder, Bob Meyers, Robert Seguso, Deana Wallace, 1981 Men's Tennis, 1982 Men's Tennis, 1983 Men's Tennis, 1988 Women's Tennis and 1989 Women's Tennis.
